On September 23 local time, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the border crossing with Belarus would be reopened in the early hours of September 25. After an 11-day wait, the disrupted China-Europe Railway Express finally received a timetable for resuming operations. In the Małaszewicze area of Poland and the Brest region of Belarus, the long-awaited China-Europe Railway Express can now continue its journey.
The China-Europe Railway Express is the most crucial land freight corridor connecting China and Europe. It passes through Russia and Brest in Belarus before arriving at the Małaszewicze hub in Poland, where goods are then distributed to over 220 cities in 26 European countries. According to data from the European Rail Freight Association, more than 85%-90% of China-Europe Railway Express trains pass through or arrive in Poland.
