On January 15, carrying cargoes such as refrigerators, China-Laos international freight train departed from Chengdu International Railway Station, which will arrive in Vientiane, capital of Laos, via Yunnan.

Departing from Chengdu, the train covers a distance of 1800km after crossing the border at Mohan Port, which is expected to arrive in Vientiane, Laos in 5 days. These cargoes were the first to be procured in China-Laos railway market, representing a solid step of Chengdu International Railway Station in exploring new space of foreign trade with ASEAN for the purpose of market procurement trade by using China-Laos Railway.
