On December 2, 2021, carrying 50 containers full of home appliances, the first train from Nanchong to Moscow slowly departed from Nanchong East Railway Station, which crossed the border via Khorgos and finally arrived at Rostov on Don Railway Station in Russia.

Cargoes on the train recorded total value of about RMB 16 million. The cargoes were AC mounted units shipped by Changhong Electric and Zhuhai GREE.

Covering a total distance of over 8000km, the train is expected to arrive at the destination in about 20 days.

Railway transportation has accelerated delivery and facilitated the construction of the Belt and Road program.
