On August 13, 2016, the train from Yiwu West to Chelyabinsk was successfully launched. The Company successfully launched the train departing from Yiwu West, which crossed the border via Alataw Pass and arrived at Chelyabinsk, Russia after reloading in Dostyk, Kazakhstan in 13 days.

The Company launched trains departing from cities across China to Afghanistan through Yiwu in June 2015 covering full length of 15 days. Before that, cargoes from China were transported to Karachi in Pakistan and then to Afghanistan by truck with a full length of at least 50 days. Besides, policy and military factors in the countries resulted in instability of transportation and loss of cargoes. By contrast to traditional transport mode, the launch of Afghanistan train has significantly reduced logistics time.
